Five Minute Friday - possibility

Every Friday we unite for five minutes. Only five minutes, that's all we get, that's all we have. And then, right where we are, no edits or second thoughts, we publish those words. This week, we write on possibility.

Go.

The possibility of a new.
New laughs.
New loves.
New hearts...open hearts.
New possibilities.

The possibility that comes with a new year.
New phrase.
New goals.
New challenges.
New losses and gains.
New possibilities.

The possibility of chances.
A chance meeting.
A small connection that goes somewhere, means something.
The possiblity of what you may find when you are not looking.

What becomes possible when you start believing in yourself.
Your strength.
Your needs.
Hearing yourself.
Showing up for you.
Taking a stand as to who you are and what you need.
What becomes possible?

What becomes possible when you have hope.
And a little bit of faith.
And a little bit of belief.
And a little bit of desire.
And a little wish.

When do the possiblities become endless?

Stop.

  1. There's a chance that I will die
before this month or year is through
but that don't mean that I won't try
to do what God would have me do,
    encourage others when I can
    through medium of poetry,
    try to help them understand
that God, He is no mystery,
but a kind and loving Friend
whose strength and joy we borrow,
and when we're broken won't pretend
He's not devastated by our sorrow,
but bids us lean into His chest
just like a child who needs a rest.

  2. This is lovely. Anne possibilities are always endless, it’s the boundaries we set for ourselves that make them seem limited?? You’ve given me something to ponder on. Your #fmf neighbor, Cindy

    1. *Maybe not Anne….

What you may find when you’re not looking… that’s so good! I’m always looking for what’s next. It’s refreshing to just stop and breathe and see what happens! FMF #33.

Same, I'm always searching, maybe if I sit for a minute, I'll realize what is really needed.
